Terms & Conditions - The Basics

General Information
Eden Nest Zanzibar operates as a boutique hotel offering accommodation, dining, and hospitality services in Jambiani, Zanzibar. By making a reservation or using our facilities, guests agree to the terms stated below.
2.
Reservations & Payments

All reservations must be confirmed with a valid credit card or deposit.

Full payment or balance settlement is required upon check-in unless otherwise arranged.

Prices are quoted in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) and include local taxes unless stated otherwise.

Rates may vary during high and low seasons and are subject to change without notice.

Special offers, packages, or promotional rates are non-transferable and may include specific conditions.
3.
Check-In / Check-Out

Check-In Time: 2:00 PM

Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM
Early check-ins or late check-outs are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
4.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Free cancellation up to 7 days before arrival.

Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival will incur a charge equal to the first night’s stay.

No-shows will be charged 100% of the total booking amount.

In case of flight delays or emergencies, guests should contact the hotel immediately to adjust bookings where possible.

Children & Extra Beds

Children of all ages are welcome.

Extra beds or baby cots are available upon request and subject to availability.

Additional charges may apply depending on room category and season.

Pets

7.
Guest Conduct
Guests are expected to respect the peace and privacy of others.
Eden Nest reserves the right to refuse accommodation or request the departure of any guest causing disturbance, property damage, or engaging in unlawful behavior.
8.
Damage & Loss
Guests are responsible for any damage to rooms, furnishings, or facilities caused during their stay.
Eden Nest is not liable for loss or theft of personal belongings left unattended in rooms or common areas.
A safe deposit box is available for valuables.
9.
Use of Facilities

The pool and rooftop areas are for registered guests only.

Swimming is at your own risk; no lifeguard is on duty.

Restaurant and bar services operate during specified hours.

Outside food and beverages are not allowed in the restaurant or pool area unless approved by management.
10.
Airport Transfers & Excursions
Airport transfers and island tours can be arranged through reception or prior to arrival.
All such services provided by third-party operators are the responsibility of those operators, and Eden Nest accepts no liability for delays or incidents during transport.
11.
Force Majeure
Eden Nest shall not be held responsible for events beyond its control, including but not limited to weather conditions, natural disasters, power outages, pandemics, or government actions.
12.
Privacy & Data Protection
Personal information collected during booking is used solely for reservation management and guest service purposes.
Eden Nest does not share personal data with third parties except where required by law or booking systems.
13.
Liability Disclaimer
While every effort is made to ensure guest safety and satisfaction, Eden Nest Zanzibar cannot be held liable for accidents, injuries, or loss resulting from activities undertaken during the stay.
14.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in Tanzanian courts under applicable jurisdiction.
